Wigston Pharmacy, an independent pharmacy, was established almost 30 years ago.
Wigston Pharmacy is a team of regular Pharmacist , we also use regular locum Pharmacists, so often there are two pharmacists in the pharmacy, Pharmacy technicians, dispensers, healthcare coordinator, and counter assistants. We also have a pre-registration Pharmacist, who after gaining a degree in pharmacy , have to under 12 months training under the supervision of a Pharmacist. We alaso have pharmacy students who work part-time.

Our pharmacist may be able to conduct an MUR over the telephone or for eligible patient
We run a flu vaccination clinic from October to February where under certain criteria free flu vaccinations are administered
When you are prescribed a medicine to treat a long-term condition for the first time, the pharmacist will support you to use the medicine safely and to best effect.
